As stated it is winder to maintain power and not to power up a watch.
For last 48 hours it did as specified, rotate 2 mins pause 6 mins, my watch is still running.

Product is fairly priced and does as described with variable rotation settings – clock wise, counter-clockwise, and 2 other alternating modes. Winder can operate on either batteries only, or when adapter only is connected for direct power. There is no indication if unit can operate on both power sources, at the same time (would not advise on doing so, only because the sparse information booklet that it comes with, does not indicate that it can).
Only issue with the particular unit received is that the battery compartment is for D-Type, not AA as described; not a big issue, since will likely rely on the direct power supplied by the adapter anyway, but make sure to check with seller if this is a concern. Seller is responsive.
